"The raw oysters were outstanding, earning a solid five stars for their freshness and delicious flavor, with no broken shells in sight. We ordered a “baker's dozen,” and they were fantastic. However, the rest of the meal did not meet those high standards. The fried shrimp arrived at room temperature, were overcooked, and quite tough. The potato salad was perfect and a highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the crab cake was lacking in seasoning and had an overpowering garlic flavor, plus it was only slightly warm. The sweet potato fries were also served at room temperature. We were seated outside, which didn’t help since the weather was cool. On a positive note, our server was attentive and did a great job. We debated sending the meal back but ultimately chose not to, as we didn’t want to wait for a replacement. Overall, it was a mixed experience."
