"On one occasion, I heard the cook clearly inform the woman at the register that my Philly cheesesteak was to have no sauce—this was done loud enough for me, and another waiting customer, to hear. I spent over $40 buying lunch for myself and my coworkers. Yet, the young woman who usually cooks the wings and messes up my orders came out from the back just to glance at me with a judgmental look because I wanted my order to be correct, given her past mistakes. This is precisely why I always check my food.
Some might wonder why I keep returning. First, I want to support a Black-owned business, especially since they often face challenges. Second, I have noticed that everything goes smoothly when Tasha is working. She is a responsible adult, unlike some of the younger staff during lunch hours. If they’re not kids, they really need to start behaving like adults."
