"The food at the restaurant is delicious and authentic, but the service could use some improvement. I called ahead to place an order for a family spicy hotpot and was quoted a price of 17.95 by the man who answered the phone. Upon arrival, however, the lady at the cash register informed me that the actual price was 19.95. When I pointed out that the menu in the restaurant listed the price as 17.95, the lady explained that the menu had not been updated to reflect a recent price increase. Despite I mentioned the discrepancy between the price quoted on the phone and the charged amount, the lady insisted that I must have remembered the wrong price.The man who answered my phone finally spoke up and apologized for the mistake in quoting the incorrect price. The lady remained silent while I made the payment and picked up my food. It was kind of strange.The inconsistent pricing and poor communication from staff made me feel uncomfortable. The restaurant should make sure to clearly communicate the prices to their customers."
