"One of my favorite places in Winston for raw oysters is King's Crab Shack. I've enjoyed so many oysters there that I once accidentally bit into a large pearl! I've been a regular since I moved to Winston in 2015, and my experiences have always been fantastic. Whenever I'm craving oysters, I know I can rely on their fresh, affordable oysters served by the dozen. They source their oysters from the James River in Virginia, and they have a wonderfully mild and creamy flavor. During my most recent visit, I celebrated the arrival of my son by treating myself to two dozen oysters—something I missed out on while I was pregnant—and it was pure bliss. Of course, I did share a few with my husband! We also kicked off our meal with the crab dimmer, which I highly recommend if you're looking to try something new."
