"3.7 out of 5This place has some seriously tempting food posts on social media and I've been wanting to try them for a while. Good Mexican food is hard to find in the Boston area, so hopes were high. Ordered delivery which was really pricey via ubereats (they're not part of Uber one). First the good, they have some tasty dishes, which carried the whole meal:Their namesake dish, esquite Mexicano was delicious. Super creamy, just enough tang, cheesy and addictive. It was my first time trying this dish so I was surprised they use canned/frozen corn. Horchata was delicious, nutty and refreshing, perfect amount of sweetness. The tres leches cake was phenomenal. Perfectly moist and sweet and tasted freshly made. The not good:The birria tacos were the best of the tacos I tried. Really delicious and the best birria I've had in the area. Unfortunately, it was a tiny portion for the price, $14 for 2 tacos and consume, that's $7 per taco and they're small. Also, they didn't have nearly enough cilantro and onion. The bad:The rice that came with the taco plate was undercooked to the point of being hard and crunchy, not pleasant at all.The carnitas tacos were dry and flavorless. None of the tacos had enough cilantro and onion. The mole chicken tamal was super dry and salty; a sad tamal. Lastly, the full menu is not available on ubereats."
