"I had passed by this place many times since it opened and always was curious since it looked so nice from the outside. Its designed in a way that is giving you the impression its a european-style italian delicatessen store. I was reminded of Saraghina right away and was thinking of delicious fresh bread and high quality cheeses and meats and incredible provisions. So now I had time to stay and ordered two sandwiches for a total of $48, excited to get the best Brooklyn Hero for lunch. What I got was an enormous Sandwich for sure. But the bread was just a regular soft Bodega roll, and non of the sauces or ingredients tasted homemade at all, it was pretty much the same as in my local Bodega for twice the prize. Maybe I am too picky at this point when I get some really amazing food at other places and I know Clinton Hill is pricey, but I was dissappointed non the less."
