"Upon arrival, we were greeted with a "seat yourself" sign, so we chose a table. Our waitress was outstanding; she was well-acquainted with the menu and available to answer any questions we had. A pleasant surprise was that they offered us a sample of a side dish we were unsure about, which turned out to be delicious, so we decided to order it. While our first two visits were enjoyable, something seemed to have shifted, possibly with the kitchen staff, as the food was cooked to perfection this time. The bread was warm, the cold dishes were at the right temperature, and the hot dishes were just right. I would rate the cooking staff a solid 5 stars. Brittany, who has been there since the beginning, was a true gem, ensuring we were comfortable and happy with our seating. Our waitress, Meagan, also deserves a 5-star rating for her exceptional service. Along with Brittany, who gets a 5-star rating as well, the cooking staff also delivered excellent food. I’m quite particular when it comes to dining, and if something isn’t to my liking, I’ll certainly let you know. But overall, this visit was undoubtedly a 5-star experience. I can't predict how many stars I might give next time, but for this visit, everything— from the warm welcome to the top-notch service—merited 5 stars. The chefs were also present, which added to the overall experience. In summary, this was a 5-star experience, and as a customer, I find that to be quite rare. I apologize for the length of this review and for perhaps overusing "5 stars," but it’s not often that I come across a dining experience that truly deserves such high praise."

"We ordered from Big Daddy BBQ using a food delivery service, when the food arrived we found a purple checkerboard pattern on the turkey it had been set on paper and the dye transferred to the meat. Obviously, inedible. We called the manager, Eric, and he offered us a complimentary meal next time. So the next week we decided we would go in and take him up on that offer. We were first surprised that the checkerboard paper was still in use at the restaurant. He said he told the owners and they decided to keep the papers in use. We were offered some explanation about how the turkey was kept moist by storing it with lettuce and they are supposed to dry off the turkey before they served it, but they didn 't, so the lettuce water somehow magically caused the dye to transfer to the turkey. I 'm not kidding, that was the excuse. We went ahead and ordered but my salad had a significant amount of dirt on it. When the waitress came back and I told her, she just took it away and said, I 'll send Eric over. So he came over and said, What now? Brown lettuce? Picked it up and walked away, as my husband was in midsentence trying to talk to him. I didn 't feel comfortable continuing to eat, so we let our son finish his food and decided to leave. My husband spoke again to Eric on the way out, and he continued to disrespect us. He said the reason he walked away was because he thought we were just done he also claimed the dirt on my lettuce was brown lettuce, (Neither are acceptable, by the way) insinuating that we were lying. We were so hoping that our experience dining in with them would have changed our perception. Prior to the dyed turkey experience, we always enjoyed their food and were so happy to have a place so close to home we could frequent. It is a shame that you simply cannot feel safe eating their food but if you do end up here, ask them to hold the paper."
