"**Pros:** The menu offered a nice variety of dishes, and everything we tried was quite tasty. The indoor space was roomy, with plenty of shaded outdoor seating as well. The decor was appealing, and the staff were friendly.
**Cons:** Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow and there seemed to be a lot of confusion surrounding our order. We had to wait until after we finished our appetizer for the bread and butter to arrive! Additionally, the bathroom was not well-maintained; both the paper towel holder and the cover box were quite dusty.
When we ordered lemonade for the kids, we were served water with just a splash of lemonade instead. When we pointed this out, the staff insisted it was lemonade. Eventually, when I requested a replacement, they told us the lemonade machine was broken—clearly expecting us not to notice or complain. The mac and cheese was supposed to be made with elbow pasta, as described on the menu. Instead, it arrived with penne topped with a white sauce and cheese, not the mac and cheese sauce we were looking forward to.
The staff were eager to clear our table, and when I took my child to the restroom in the middle of my salad, I returned to find my salad had been taken away. Additionally, the server had difficulty understanding English, which led to delays when we asked for utensils after they had removed them from our table.
After enduring all these issues and delays, we were presented with the check, which included a tip automatically added that was over 20%. As we were leaving, the owner approached us and requested an additional tip, claiming that larger parties were subject to higher charges, despite no "service fee" being mentioned on the check. Ironically, the tip they had already included was actually more than the formula she was explaining (2x the tax). She insisted that the tip was unrelated to the poor service we had experienced and stood there until we ended up doubling the tip.
