"Tourist trap. What may have once been a grand institution is no more. The wait is so long even though you only have a few people in front of you and they tell you it will be 25 minutes max. Ended being close to 50 minutes. Would have been worth it if the poboys ended up being heavenly. They were far from it.The bread was stale and hard. The shrimp, which were small and very small in quantity, did not taste fresh and had an unpleasant taste. Even the breading was soft and falling apart. Didn’t even finish it. Avoid this place if you don’t want to mire you culinary journey in NOLA."
