"We are pleased to see 579 reopen but wish we could say something good about our experience last night. We arrived to see the same 90 's basement atmosphere...we were really hoping they were going to do something with the design but nope. We sat at the bar along with maybe 5 other customers. We were handed stained paper menus from the bartender with a comment of sorry these have seen better days . Pretty sure they were the same menus from when they closed a year ago. We ordered the chicken dinner and the meatloaf. The two bartenders spent a majority of the time we were there in the kitchen. When the food did come out it was gross...my wife 's chicken was so salty you could hardly eat it. The meatloaf was smothered in a sauce that was just nasty. The mash potatoes looked like they were made last week and the veggies where so over cooked they were mush. The person sitting next to us at the bar also ordered the salty chicken and agreed it was not edible. When we sent it back the bartender explained that she had ordered it earlier and hers was very salty as well. She returned from the kitchen to explain that whoever made this batch of chicken made the brine way to salty . We 're really amazed at these places that charge $20 a plate for food that is barely edible. We had high hopes but unfortunately wont be back. "4 stars for the food:I visited Little Fatty the first time in Oct 2021, and every dish my friend and I had was nearly perfect (some were a bit salty). I was especially impressed with XO Fatty Noodles—rolled chow fun was crispy outside yet tender—and General Tso’s Cauliflower—sweet-sour coating was crispy and flavor was spot on.Before my friend and I visited Little Fatty again in 2023, my friend said she had visited the restaurant 7 times during this period and the food quality, especially the Fatty Noodles, has been inconsistent. So this time we didn’t get Fatty Noodles, but still had General Tso’s Cauliflower along with Walnut Shrimp and two noodle dishes. Cauliflower’s coating was indeed unevenly crispy. Walnut shrimp was crispy, sweet, and tender—my favorite dish of the night. Noodles in Taiwanese Sunday gravy was chewy and tender.Mocktails here have been one of my favorites—creative and flavorful.Despite the inconsistencies in food, Little Fatty is a magical Taiwanese restaurant. The food here is a combination of everyday street food and dishes that are less common yet with the Taiwanese flavor we are familiar with, all with different levels of fusion twist. With a bar inside the restaurant, Little Fatty has an amazing vibe—trendy, stylish, energetic—and is perfect for occasions where you want to have a lively chat and good laugh with family and friends at night. The diversity of customers in Little Fatty is unseen in other Taiwanese restaurant, perhaps except for Ding Tai Feng. It’s always an awe for me to see how seemingly local Taiwanese food is so welcomed by people from different cultures."

"has been here several times and it is time that I write a review. I have tried many different items on the menu. the salads are excellent and are very large and very fillable, especially with chicken or salmon on the top (they must try the graciella). the tacos are great, the burgers and sandwiches are great, and the ducks are all fabulous. this place opened this year and the menu has already been changed a few times, so they keep it definitiw exciting here. they have many beers to choose from, both on hahn (which are often cut out) and in cans or bottles. this is a great place to try new beer and new drinks, as they always have specials. for example, I asked tonight for a margarita (for $4 especially) and they did a pumpkin margaritas tonight. I had to try to see just how it was, and it was really pretty good! the little restaurant makes a good use of its room with a beautiful layout, inviting bar and quiet lighting. despite a small square, the pub feels very open and airy. Perhaps the best thing about the gastropub is the personal. every worker I have experienced is very trained on the menu points and where the ingredients come and how it makes their food special. one of the bar channels that took care of me and my family a few times is excellent, he knew so much about all the different foods (I think he's at the cooking school). tonight, peyton was our server and she was welcoming, fast and a big smile in her face during the night. the owner often goes around the pub and meets with the people. it is great to see that such great people are behind such a great culinary experience. this is really a big little pub that is concord blessed!"
