"After reading the reviews I was stoked to try it. Sounded like the real deal. Unfortunately people seem to have pretty low expectations when it comes to bbq. I got a ribs and pork plate, and some brisket. Wanted to try their staples. Was pretty disappointed. The pork was dry and flavorless. The brisket was also flavorless, bark was disappointing, but not quite as dry (yet still fairly dry). Ribs weren't too bad, were on the somewhat drier side, and needed more salt in the rub. Nothing tasted of even a hint of smoke, and no smoke rings. Didn't taste like bbq, just some overcooked roast. Everything needed sauce to be palatable, and their sauces are truly unimpressive. Mac and cheese was bland and stale. Greens were actually ok, and the jalapeño cornbread was pretty good. I will say they were very friendly there. Have been questing for good bbq in Seattle. The search continues."
