"Valentine’s Prix Fixe with wine pairings. Delicious, sweet, and quiet enough for romantic talk. Met the owners: Authentic, down to earth, and projected real interest and care. Waitstaff has plenty of “veterans,” indicating a good employer (our waiter was coming up in years). Food was delicious: “boozy raisins,” “last year’s cherries soaked in wine,” some really intense and sometimes delicate flavors punctuating the, *literally*, tenderest roast beef we’ve ever had. Very high quality-price ratio—the Scot is well pleased"
