"The food was in great quantity, it fit well with the price. The food had full flavor. From the front to the end, I could pull out the different flavors in the meat. The smoked meats had the perfect blend of cooked to burnt ends. The wood flavor equaled that of a good barrel aged bourbon. The flavors were not masked my BBQ sauce. The service was great, but it lacked a little on the personal side. The server could of smiled and been a little happier. The cooks seemed to be enjoying their jobs. It's always great to see an open kitchen. The atmosphere of the restraunt was that of a hometown diner. Great experience all around. Had a wonderful meal. Had leftovers to enjoy later."

"They don't want to make no money. They know they have the best wings in town that they don't care about customer service. I'm only giving 5 stars because The wings speak for themselves and I grew up on these wings but all that comes at a price. They almost never open, if google says their open they most likely aren't. They definitely not going to answer the phone at this location and if they do, he may tell you they don't have any wings just so he ain't gotta cook lol, but if you go in person you won't be disappointed. most likely you'll have a 30 minute or more wait but these are absolutely the best wings in town. Always hot and crispy. Never a complaint when you get them. At the other location they're always understaffed and idk why because this place is just so good! 5 stars."

"Mmmmm... you absolutely have to try the Krab rice! I’m not typically a huge fan of 'Krab,’ but Pompey’s serves the most incredible Krab rice. It’s about an hour's drive for me to reach there, but I crave it so often that I just have to make the journey. If you happen to visit on a day when Malcolm is preparing curry, consider yourself fortunate! They also offer fresh seafood, which I believe he sources every morning."
