"The decor of the café was charming, featuring a beautiful royal blue color palette, greenery on the walls, neon signs, and cool posters. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also had a nice selection of drinks, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and milkshakes. I tried the Chocolate Nutella shake, and it was simply delightful. We also decided to order a pizza for something savory, and it exceeded our expectations – it was really good.
However, I would suggest one area for improvement regarding the staff's demeanor. When we arrived at 9:30 and found the front door open, we were informed that they didn’t officially open until 10. We went back to our car and noticed several other customers being turned away for the same reason. I recommend that the front doors remain closed until it's time to start business.
Additionally, while the staff were friendly, they appeared somewhat stressed and rushed, which made me feel a bit unwelcome. It was clear they had been filling to-go orders before opening, as there were many boxes lined up on the counter with receipts attached. I felt they were seriously short-staffed and suggest that the owners consider allocating more funds for payroll to help the opening crew manage the demand better. I understand they were busy and seemed like lovely people; having extra help could alleviate some of that pressure, especially as they got busy right after opening.
Overall, I had a great experience at Saint Honoré, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys sweet treats. The food was delicious, the decor was adorable, and the prices were reasonable. I look forward to visiting again soon to try more of their creations."
