"Absolutely loved this place. Probably my favorite brunch in NoLa. Lovely service, great location, and amazing food. Make reservations in advance to get on their 2nd floor balcony which is just fantastic when the weather is nice. Inside on the second floor is airy and bright too, and the first floor patio is always in the shade (if you get hot easily). For apps, the fried chicken gizzard with grits and brown gravy were packed with flavor and buttery and decadent and a perfect mix of textures. My husband normally doesn 't eat weird foods, and he loved it, too. For a main, that pot roast in brown gravy with mashed potatoes can 't be beat. Best pot roast I 've had anywhere in the world. So tender and juicy and flavorful. I recommend doing it my way: take out the toast, and add a runny egg. You can get a bottle of bubbly for $32 during brunch I think. I also loved their **** Marys and sangria."
