"This is my new stop for Vietnamese pho soup (beef broth with rice noodles and veggies) and banh xeo (Vietnamese crepes). I typically eat three or four or five orders of banh xeo each sitting! Yep, that's not a typo. For me, it's the Vietnamese equivalent of ordering a short stack at IHOP, but a million times better with spicy Vietnamese fish sauce (nước chấm). The portion sizes for the soup and the crepes WILL FILL UP A GROWN MAN and the prices are very reasonable. I was first hooked on the taste and the portion size, but then I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED with the prices. I usually go to Orange County California (The land of the Vietnamese Americans) and order banh xeo for $6 or $7 per order, that way I can order a bunch. But something happened in Phoenix over the years, and you can't find BANH XEO for less than $10 or $12 per order. That makes it much harder to order a bunch. In other words, what a rip off. NOT THIS PLACE!! THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!! COME HERE. ORDER PHO, ORDER BANH XEO. YOU WILL BE HAPPY YOU DID, AND YOU WON'T BE BROKE WHEN YOU'RE DONE EATING."

"Prices are extremely expensive for how small the portions were. The large pho bowl was a medium at other pho places. We had a table of 8 and when I went to go pay they already put a tip for themselves which is $22. WOULDVE been fine if they came to give us more water at least once or offer better service. They did not deserve the tip for themselves. The waitress was so rude to my mom when she ordered a special house combo. She said what special house. What is the special house you want She rudely made fun and laughed at her while my brother was trying to explain what it was she wanted. Very unprofessional. Will never come again. Paid total of $159. I also found a bug crawling on me while I was inside the store. No ac whatsoever and the table I was sat at had a fan blowing right at my face while I was eating. First and last time here."

"After a long shopping trip at a department store in the same plaza, we decided to give Pho Sizzle a shot for dinner. I'm a big fan of pho (if I had to eat one dish for the rest of my life, that's what it would be) and my wife can usually find something she'd enjoy on any menu. She was really excited to try their ice cream, but upon entering we saw a sign saying they weren't offering any that day. Big disappointment, but things happen. We ordered crab rangoons and spring rolls for appetizers I enjoyed both; my wife disliked the crab rangoons, which I'll admit tasted nothing like any other crab rangoon I've ever tried, and thought the spring rolls were fine. For entrees, I ordered pho thai (pho with thin beef) and she ordered chow ho fun after seeing a photo that looked tempting online of another patron's dish at Pho Sizzle. My pho broth was uncharacteristically sweet tasting and none of the usual additions were provided, like sweet thai basil and bean sprouts. I would have asked for some, but I knew there was no way either of those would change just how much I disliked the broth. My wife's dish looked, smelled and tasted unappetizing, both on her account and mine. We decided not to eat our meals after a few bites, which is something we never do. Our sweet server noticed and offered to get us other meals but we had to decline, as we had really doubted we'd enjoy anything else after such big misses."

"The spring rolls are super fresh, and I really love the plum sauce they come with. "Wow is all I can say. I?ve eaten in Vietnamese restaurants coast to coast and even in Paris. This one is one of the best. There are items on the menu that you don?t normally see in Vietnamese restaurants. Most people think of Pho when they think ofa Vietnamese restaurant. This restaurant is supposed to have terrific Pho, but that?s not what I was wanting. I?ll try thatnext time. I ordered a traditional Vietnamese meal ? something that many Vietnamese people grow up with. White rice, Cá KhoT? (Carmelized and braised catfish), Canh chua tôm (Tamarind soup with shrimp), and rau mu?ng xào t?i (Water spinach withgarlic). Everything was so good and tasted like it came out of my mom?s kitchen. It was like going back in time. If you likeVietnamese food, run, don?t walk here. You will not be disappointed."
