"I have frequented this establishment multiple times, even celebrated a milestone birthday here however, this visit the two prior visits were disappointing. When we visited in the past the owner was present the food was on point-hot, seasoned well flavored. The last few visits she was not there the quality of the food suffered. My jambalaya was lukewarm flavorless. The atmosphere hasn't been as inviting as it once was. The servers seem to not care or act as though they want to be somewhere else. The last visit, the hostess didn't welcome us or evev greet us with a smile. The only friendly staff member that day was our actual server. At some point a gentleman came from the kitchen area, looked to be a manager or an assistant manager, he looked at our table quickly looked away as he continued walking to the table of other servers/staff that were sitting/standing joking amongst themselves. I guess when the staff gets an automatic 20% gratuity REGARDLESS of the service they provide, this is the end result?! I just hope the owner realizes the impact her absence makes especially if she can't rely on another chef/head chef to share her same food standards. Or a manager that allows the staff to provide mediocre service knowing it will have no basis for their tip. Time to take a break from this establishment......"
