"**Taste:** We had the soft shell crab curry (pad phong karee), glass noodle salad (yum woon sen), and crispy duck drunken noodles (pad khee mao). I really dislike when Thai-American restaurants add bell peppers to dishes, and while they did include them in the crab curry, it didn’t affect the overall flavor and was just a garnish. The soft shell crab was absolutely delicious—perfectly fried and still crispy beneath the curry, with a perfect spice level. The pad khee mao noodles were cooked just right—not too thick or mushy—and thankfully, they didn’t overdo it with the bell peppers. Instead, they used green peppercorns, though I realize it’s tough to find fresh kaprao leaves in the U.S. Overall, the execution was solid. I had no complaints about the yum woon sen, which was a delightful mix of sour, spicy, salty, and fresh flavors.
**Experience:** We were seated right away, and the service was great. Although they don’t have a soda fountain, they still offered free can refills for Diet Coke. The staff was friendly, and it was evident they had regular patrons who come in frequently. The decor is nothing special, but the food more than makes up for it.
**Mood Before/After:** I was quite exhausted after a long day of traveling back and forth from Pittsburgh, but this meal really revitalized me.
**Fullness:** We were very full after our meal, and even with a beef dish (which I can’t eat), there were leftovers.
**Other Factors Affecting My Experience:** I had spent almost 10 hours in a car starting at 4 a.m. and had a disappointing meal at a bad Chinese restaurant in rural Pennsylvania beforehand, so this might have influenced my positive perception of this place."
