"Upon entering, I was struck by the beautiful interior; the tables are nicely spaced, and the wooden floor has a lovely sheen. The menu is refreshingly concise compared to other Vietnamese restaurants, focusing on just a few key dishes. We tried the sugarcane shrimp, which is a unique appetizer featuring shrimp wrapped around a sugarcane stick, and the calamari, both of which were excellent.
For our main courses, we ordered pad thai, a rice platter, and lemongrass chicken, all of which were flavorful and well-prepared. The restaurant was happy to accommodate specific requests for a few items as well. However, I was disappointed with the thai tea and the rice. The rice was dry and stale; we probably should have asked for a fresh bowl, and I plan to do that next time! Nonetheless, I’m looking forward to returning."
