"We visited the gorge on Thursday, August 19. We had already eaten there. For a Thursday afternoon at 4:00 it was packed, with seats only outside on the balcony. The waitress seemed very accommodating and sat with a very nice view of Taos Plaza and La Fonda de Taos. Then. .. the rain came before our food was served, and only table was available at the bar. No problem. But our waiter seemed to forget that we were his customers, and we had to remember him a few times. The drinks, margaritas of course, were very good and tart. But the deep fried corn tortillas around the chicken enchiladas were divine, crispy. And the beans were PINTOS, the best. I'm sure Tejanos like black beans, but they also like Okra. Pintos are the best. I recommend this restaurant"
