"I often see places like this, so I decided to give it a try. Where do I even begin? First and foremost, the restaurant was filthy—there was trash everywhere (I noticed this after placing my order). Now, let's talk about the customer service. When I approached the counter, there were three employees, but it took a few minutes for anyone to acknowledge my presence. Eventually, I asked one of the guys if he could make my coffee boba with almond milk, and he simply responded with a "yes." However, when I received my drink, I asked if it had actually been made with almond milk, and they said no. I requested that they remake it. The girl’s nonverbal attitude was unbelievable; she looked at me as if to say, "Are you serious?" Yes, I absolutely am, especially since I had asked about this while I was on the phone. Honestly, the wait was not worth it. The drink tasted terrible. Save your money and head to the shop in the village instead. Unfortunately, I don’t know the name of the place, but it's the only boba shop above the ice rink in the village."

"I am originally from the Dallas/Ft-Worth area where we have a very large lao american community and many options for lao kitchen. this is one of my favorite restaurants to go when I feel like homesick. the kow piek tastes just like my mother makes it, a hot, hearty, comforting broth rich with tapioca noodles and cuts of huh. the gurkensalat is spicy and refreshing like my brother. the savanh ruck is thin and full of umami, and with sticky rice, makes the perfect snack or appetizer. I love how when it comes to their Laos menu, they do not try to water the taste to delight western palate. for me it tastes like home and that is what I love about this restaurant"

"Small spot with the most terrible sign. Looks like they are remodeling the plaza. We got seated right away and served a quick meal. The mi hoanh thanh was really flavorful. The soup hit the spot for a cold, rainy day. The wontons were flavorful with a thin wrapper.Hot crispy egg roll with veggies to wrap and a light fish sauceto dip! 10/10 i recommend!"

"I ordered via doordash to my job so i cant comment on service BUT i can def comment on food. Also one huge thing that stood out to me is they dont provide enough sauce! Half the small sauce container was full of hoisen for pho. Barely enough sauce for one spring roll in an order of 2. The bread pudding had barely enough sauce as well. : Traditional sandwich banh mi 4 10 As you can see on the attached photo theres not much filling in the sandwich. I also love cilantro radish carrots in my banh mi which i was expecting but also wasnt there. But still, i didnt hate the taste and the quality of bread was good Beef brisket pho 6 10 First bite i was like ok... this is sweeter than any pho ive ever had. It took getting use to but it wasnt bad. I kinda enjoyed it. I was just thrown off bc it was different from what i was used to. Also, half a small sauce container of hoisin was ridiculous to me. Grilled spring rolls 8 10 I love the fried egg roll wrap inside makes a huge difference bc now theres texture! If youve been to brodard or summer roll and have had this kind of spring roll the pork here is different. In a good way! It reminds me of a light longanisa flavor! Or chinese sausage kind of. I really liked it. Only down side, the sauce provided was enough for one spring roll in an order of two : Pear bread pudding 7 10 Love my sweets. It was yummy, really enjoyed the sauce! If only they gave more sauce. Green thai tea 8 10 I enjoyed it. Not as sweet as seaside bakery 's and thats a good thing. Overall decent spot!"

"We are regular customers at this restaurant and the food is usually excellent. However, the last time I placed an order for my family through Postmates, which we do about half the time, the quality was not up to par. Our coconut summer rolls were made with lettuce that was rotting, mushy, and black - a definite health hazard. It was so bad that I had to throw them away. Getting a refund through Postmates was too much of a hassle, so I have decided not to order them again. They used to be a favorite in our house, but the risk is not worth it. It's surprising because the food has always been good for years."

"Sweet memes is a very cute place to take photos and have some desserts. Someone did mention that they have a variety of dessert and that they aren’t specialized in any which I can agree with. This place is a hit or miss.Croffle 2/5I was so disappointed with this dish. I’ve had it elsewhere and would not recommend this here. It wasn’t as soft nor flakey. It was like a thick waffle. Not the same consistency as even when I make at home. "Amazing food! I shared the fried fish with basil leaves with my brother but the flavors was great. I got the chicken noodles and my daughter got the chicken fried rice. For drinks, we got the Thai tea. I haven't had such great Thai food on a while. Don't let the location fool you. It's the food that's worth it. The interior decor was cute and friendly. Our waitress and the host was the same girl. She was hustling catering to everyone. I will definitely be back."

"Good food but not big on size. I 've been living in the area for a few years and I 've seen the ups and downs of restaurants in this area. Sadly, I feel Gigi 's may not be around much longer. I assume the issues caused by the pandemic led to the new limited menu. In the past Gigi 's also served pizza, calzones, strombolis, etc. However, now they primarily serve what I would call Instagram food. It 's either tacos, burritos, or fries?! And it 's all $15--regardless. I ordered tacos and lumpia $40 after taxes). The tacos were good--basic but good. However, they were soooo small. Like $1 size tacos. You get 3 tacos for $15, no sides, no rice, no beans. Each taco is 2 bites. So enjoy those 6 bites! I can 't imagine many people going for the food at this point, but I hear the boba is good."

"I ordered the Lao Style Papaya Salad with medium spice, but it wasn't very good. I was hoping for something similar to what I get at the South Area Market or what my Hmong friends or Thai in-laws prepare, but this salad was almost sweeter than traditional Thai versions and lacked any real spice. The balance of sour, spicy, and sweet was off. I got the impression that I received an Americanized version of the dish. I’m not sure if I’ll try it again, but if I do, I will definitely make it clear that when I say medium spicy, I want at least 4-8 chilies in the dish. This was just one dish, though. On a positive note, the staff and the restaurant overall were very nice."

"My fiancé placed an order at noon for a pickup at 6 PM after he finished work. He even called to confirm that the order would be ready on time. However, when he arrived at Bao at 5:58 PM, he was informed that it would take an additional 15 minutes because they hadn’t prepared his order yet. After waiting 35 minutes, he was finally able to leave with our food. The service was terrible, and we didn’t receive any explanation for the delay, which was twice as long as we were told. This used to be one of my favorite pho places, but I won’t be returning."
