"Interestingly, it appeared that I was one of the few who actually ordered it. We also ordered red beans and rice with a side of andouille, but they seemed overcooked and lacked the authentic Cajun flavors we were hoping for. The andouille was just a few slices that had been lightly grilled—maybe it was a milder variety, it was hard to say. We also tried the crawfish pasta, which contained tiny pieces of crawfish and the same andouille; however, the sauce was more like a cheesy gravy than what we expected. It did have some flavor and tasted decent, but it was a lot heavier than described.
There were a few other menu items that sounded appealing, but unfortunately, we are unlikely to return. We love Cajun and Creole food, and I have a fondness for absinthe, but we will keep looking elsewhere."
