"This charming little diner in the area features a small counter, along with a few booths and tables. It's a standalone part of the Pleasant Valley Inn complex. I visited a couple of times on different days and at various times, and each meal was prepared with care and attention. The owner, Marla, is very hands-on and is likely the one cooking your food. It's clear that she genuinely cares about her customers and the meals she provides. The food I had here was freshly made and cooked to order. If you're in search of comforting food, this place is definitely worth a stop when it's open. The restaurant has limited hours and isn't open every day, but when it is, the food is consistently good. I would give it 4 stars – a solid little spot with great comfort food."
