"When we settled at the table, which was for four people, we were unsure about the seating etiquette since it was our first visit to this place. A few minutes later, a different hostess approached us in a passive-aggressive manner and remarked, "Oh, I didn’t know someone seated you… that’s interesting, okay." My wife responded, explaining that the hostess at the front had given us permission to sit there. The new hostess replied in a snarky tone, "Well, I’m the hostess so..." as if we should have known who she was or the seating rules. She then walked away, leaving us feeling awkward and uncomfortable.
Shortly thereafter, another waitress with green-blue hair approached us and spoke in a disrespectful manner, saying, "So I’m trying to wrap my head around the confusion..." She repeated this phrase several times, suggesting that the hostess believed we were only there to say hello, as if we were being dishonest about our reason for being there. Her approach felt demoralizing, dismissive, and condescending, as if we were children who couldn’t understand. While she eventually moved us, which was fine, her attitude made the entire experience tense and unenjoyable.
Throughout our time there, her tone and demeanor remained unacceptable and insulting. A service-oriented establishment should never treat customers this way. I won’t be returning to this place. To the managers, please ensure that your staff is more responsible and respectful toward customers; that's essential for encouraging repeat visits. I’d rather play board games at home than deal with such rude service."
