"Oishii In Dallas is a must-visit spot for food lovers! We had the Royce Roll, which was a delightful combination of crabmeat mix, tempura flakes, truffle oil, and avocado, all wrapped with yellowtail and topped with thinly sliced lemon and sriracha. The flavors were explosive!The Crispy Black Tiger Prawns were perfectly cooked and the garlic, onions, jalapenos, and parmesan cheese added a delicious kick. The Crab Rangoons were creamy and paired perfectly with the sweet sour sauce.The Shaken Beef was tender and flavorful, with scallions, onions, and tomatoes enhancing the taste. The Singapore Noodles Chicken were a delightful mix of egg, bean sprouts, carrots, celery, coconut cream, and yellow curry. And let's not forget the smoked salmon sushi, which was fresh and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Overall, Oishii In Dallas exceeded our expectations with their flavorful dishes and friendly service."

"I dined at this restaurant and I am extremely disappointed with the money I spent. Normally, the food is very good and fresh. We arrived early and I am almost certain that they gave us leftover rice that was reheated. The rice was hard and not fresh or piping hot like usual. There was no aroma coming from the food as there had been in the past. When I mentioned to the server that the rice was hard, she replied, "The brown rice is supposed to be harder." I also noticed that the quality and seasoning of the food were not the same. It seemed like ingredients were missing or maybe there is a new chef - it was simply disappointing."

"Our meals tonight were as delicious as every other time. Carefully prepared and presented. We dining tonight with a party of an were attentively cared for and when our server realized one of the people in our party was waiting for their sushi after other meals had been served, he quickly brought her a soup on the house so she wasn't the only one waiting while we dug into our individually and deliciously prepared meals. I would recommend this place for everything from a last minute night out to a planned event. We will definitely be back sooner than later!"

"Went last March and the sushi was amazing. Was excited to go back last night to celebrate my birthday with friends. We had ordered drinks and were looking at the menu and chatting when my friend noticed something on the inside of her glass just above the Coke. Upon closer inspection it was indeed a roach, we didn't notice it when the drinks were dropped off which means it probably crawled up. We decided we were going to leave and called the waiter over and told him, he was extremely apologetic and told us he would his manager to come over. Before he walked away, he did say that sometimes they come from the ice and that's how it made it into the drink probably. That. Does. Not. Make. Me. Feel. Better. A few minutes later he came back over and told us that the drinks were on the house and that the manager was too busy to come over but he's very sorry. So we left. To the manager if there is a ROACH in your customers food, you un busy whatever situation you are in and address that immediately. Absolutely disgusting customer service. You should not have your waiter who does not get paid enough probably deal with that situation. And looking at your reviews, this isn't the first occurrence, and management doesn't care in those reviews as well."

"Visiting inner Richmond and on our first evening the hostess from High Treason recommended this restaurant. We were greeted immediately and were offered a table in the middle of the room. But I had seen a different table/room (the kind where the seating is as if you are at a low Japanese table but you can put your legs in a pit. He said it was fine add long as we didn't mind going shoeless. Of course. +1 for the host.Our service was attentive and the method of ordering was with a check list of menu items, since it was izakaya and sushi. +1 for service We ordered a variety. The robata items like yakitori, beef yaki (with onion), chicken soft bone. We agreed that these didn't wow us.The sushi was excellent. Especially the salmon nigiri. It was as fresh as you can get. Melted like butter. We got a few rolls and my favorite was the a roll with jalapeno.We also ordered the Agedashi Tofu, chicken karage, and seaweed salad.The overall price for 4 people and walking away full was great! $200 including tip."

"Dined here on the evening of 3/16]]Thank you to my BD for finding Miyakko Japanese Cuisine and making the decision to come here for dinner.The restaurant is quite small but comfortable spacious enough IMO. There were 2 servers manning the restaurant and they both seemed to tag team when it came down to taking orders assisting patrons needs. CAGE was the server who primarily assisted us throughout our meal- this review is more so directed towards him. Don't be overwhelmed but the menu here is massive. There are pages and pages of Japanese traditional foods, sushi options, and assorted appetizers. We decided on: Nigiri Deluxe 9pc chef choice assorted nigiri], 2 Item Dinner Bento w/ teriyaki salmon california rolls], Star Roll, Under The Sea Roll, Wakame Salad seaweed].Food:Our meal came out fairly quickly and thanks to Cage's honest assessment, I refrained from order another roll or two. Our table was kind of a tight squeeze once everything was brought out. Each meal starts off with a house salad and some miso soup- both very tasty. The dinner bento box came with 3 mini sides tofu, seaweed salad, a pickled radish/cucumber dish]. Bonus point simply for that- not only did it add to the presentation but the sides complimented the entree very well. The highlight of the meal was the 9pc nigiri deluxe which included uni a plump scallop. Everything was fresh, had a clean finish, and portions were great. Wakame salad was too watery and too sweet for my tastebuds- wouldn't order that again. Under The Sea Roll Star Roll were both delicious but if I had to chose between the two, UTS is an total knock out!! Shout out to Cage for making our meal THAT MUCH MORE amazing and bonus points for him recognizing my daughter's small sign language gestures!! He was extremely attentive, patient, and extremely kind throughout the meal. Any all requests that were made was welcomed with a smile. 5/5 stars for both Cage the quality foods that Miyakko serves!! I'd come back in a heartbeat and you best believe I'm going for that nigiri again!!!"

"I visited this restaurant during happy hour and ordered a red dragon roll and spicy salmon roll from the happy hour menu. My friend and I wanted to try the 1 piece nigiri from the happy hour menu to sample different fish, but they did not allow any changes for happy hour. This was disappointing as I wanted my friend to try both tuna options. The red dragon roll was decent, but the spicy salmon roll lacked flavor and tasted bland. We also ordered edamame as a starter, which turned out to be calamari instead. Overall, it was a decent place to eat with good service. The server was friendly and attentive, offering us more water or tea. The restaurant itself is beautiful and clean."

"My friend and I came by for a weekday lunch to take advantage of their lunch specials they seemed so cheap (especially nowadays). We stopped by around 12:30 on a Monday to an empty restaurant, and while we were there, we were the only customers.The lunch specials were actually so inexpensive, so we decided to order 3 to share between the two of us. First was the sushi lunch. The California rolls were a bit mediocre the imitation crab meat was quite tasteless. The fish was fine not the freshest, I think, but nothing too problematic. The imitation crab nigiri was not very good, which might be a recurring theme. The ebi (shrimp) was also average.Next was the sushi sashimi lunch, which was largely just the previous characters arranged in slightly different roles. A bit disappointing, overall, and even my favourite salmon sashimi fell a bit flat. Last was the sushi and maki deluxe we picked the yellowtail maki. The nigiri was of similar quality to the other combos. Yellowtail maki was pretty good, although inconsistently so (there was one piece that was nearly unchewable). Tempura was actually really quite good crispy and yummy :)Overall, the price was indeed quite low, and we had so much food, but was it worth it? For this quality, I would say no. While nothing was expressly bad, I think that there are much better options in the area (for just a little higher price) that I would rather go to instead."

"I love the happy hour here (everyday 4:30 6:30). The service is amazing and they are so friendly and attentive. They come by before it ends to make sure you don't want to add anything else before the price changes. Love the crunchy California rolls! And the rainbow roll and California rolls! The warm saki is $4 and it was every bit worth it. Not too busy and quiet enough to hold a conversation and catch up with friends. We got there early and they seated us right away. Only negative there were a few gnats flying around."

"I tried the Chicken Fried Rice, Wagyu Beef Maki, and Oyster Sushi at Oishii Boston. The service was prompt, and the staff was attentive, checking on me after each dish. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere with pretty decorations and dim dark lights making it a perfect place to have conversations with friends and family. My only gripe was the lack of a visible sign outside, making it a bit challenging to find initially. The price is little bit to the higher end but the flavors were delightful, prompting a desire to return for more culinary exploration. I do suggest this place to others. The 4 star cause there's always room for improvement with the dishes and the taste."

"So this could have been a 5 Star Yelp review. But downgrading due to the lack of service on a Friday night. I blame management, and in this case, it could just be a family owned and run business. We only had to wait 10minutes to get a table so that was good. However, the hostess taking our order was so flustered as she was the only one that was taking orders with a packed house! There were two other boys that were either cleaning the tables and seating people but not sure if they were trained to take orders. We had two friends join us spur of the moment that evening so we had a great time. No rush by the restaurant to move on. We stayed there for over 1.5hours. Not really because we wanted to, but it seemed it took a very long time to make the sushi rolls. And we had to keep tracking down our hostess to get some of the items that we ordered. So now for the good stuff. The taste of almost every roll was phenomenal. The only one I didn't like was the Slow Burn Roll, which had an interesting texture to it and no burn to it. But the other rolls and the Sashimi platter were excellent. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was to die for! One of the few places that I have been to that actually serve this. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with any of the rolls on the menu. Total bill for 4 people ended up around $170 including 2 beers and hot tea. We were not even asked if we wanted dessert nor did we want to stay any longer. But it was great to watch the Warriors game that was on while we ate. A very cozy restaurant and the locals know this has great food. I hope the owners take note of this and at least get someone else who can wait tables."

"The best recommendation: Oishi Grill Fresh with great service . . .. We've visited Oishii several times and each time the sushi tasted very fresh and came well presented. Oishii has special dishes and unique appetizers combined with a great atmosphere. One appetizer we loved was the Seared White Tuna Tataki. The other was Seared Scallops where each piece came served on top of a slice of kiwi. The Sashimi Appetizer is served on crushed ice so your sashimi stays nice and cool. To top everything off, the server provides extremely good service and always has a big, natural smile. We highly recommend you try this wonderful, small and romantic restaurant which clearly stand out as one of our favorite Japanese Fusion establishments in Jacksonville."

"The dish itself was lacking in flavor; this was not the Japanese curry I am familiar with. Frankly, I could make a curry with more depth of flavor at home. I felt misled. My boyfriend was also dissatisfied with his fish dinner, mentioning that it seemed overcooked. I even suggested another dish for him as well. Overall, it was a significant disappointment. I also noticed that the decorative counter light was turned off — were you preparing to close early? It feels quite rude and unwelcoming to dim the lights during operating hours, making the atmosphere too dark. I thought I heard rap music playing, which isn’t exactly relaxing or in keeping with the traditional vibe one would expect. Lastly, the condition of the bathroom was unacceptable; it was quite off-putting. Perhaps you could allocate some of your menu prices toward improving cleanliness? "I didn't know this place was kaiten (conveyor) sushi, so that might help gauge expectations better. I ordered through Uber Eats and was overwhelmed with the variety of choices, which is both good and bad they tailor to what you might crave but then they don't seem to really specialize in anything if they're offering everything, you know? I didn't get sushi this round and was satisfied with my order, but nothing really stood out. Chicken Karaage some inconsistency as a few pieces were better than others. It's a super light fried chicken karaage where there's no real crunch, it's relatively soft and not crispy. Pro or con depending on your preference. The chicken was inconsistent as some were super juicy yet others a tad bit dry. I appreciated that they attached salt and pepper for me to customize. I do wish they included spicy mayo rather than regular mayo, as that's more standard for chicken karaage. I'd probably keep this at a 3/5 item. Salmon Chips I haven't had these before and have seen them around. They're pretty good, not sure if it's specifically this location or all salmon skin chips as I don't have anything to compare to. They're pretty fatty and a great source of omega 3s with a beautiful crunch to them. I'd give this a 5/5. Pork Tonkatsu Bento Disappointing. Salad was normal, edamame was normal, but bland because of it as it didn't come with salt or anything. Got four pieces. Rice is normal as well, can't go wrong with that. The most disappointing part was the focus of this item the pork. It was super dry and not that crispy. Stiff to bite because it was so dry. Katsu sauce helped a bit, but it was way too salty and soy saucey. At first, it felt promising as I tried the sauce and it was super viscous but then the taste let me down. I've seen a lot of watery katsu sauces which I don't like but they tasted great."
