"This was my first time trying The Daily Grind and I'm really happy that I did. When I arrived I was a little concerned because it was very busy, as most restaurants in Albuquerque are on a Sunday morning. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't need to wait for a table. They have a super cute patio that is rather large and well landscaped. They have a lot of shade sails all around to keep the patio cool and out of the direct sun. The atmosphere was really pleasant. I waited for a few minutes for the hostess as they were very busy but I waited less than five minutes. My companion arrived and we were immediately seated. Not surprisingly, I opted for the carne adovada breakfast burrito. It was absolutely delicious. My burrito included scrambled eggs, home fries, beans, cheddar, chile, flour tortilla and was smothered with green and red chile and cheese. My companion had the Cheddar French BLT which includes cheddar french toast, bacon, lettuce, tomato topped with an egg and served with home fries. She also opted to add the raspberry purée which was recommended by the server. I guess it was delicious because it was gone by the end of the meal! This spot has some interesting menu choices. This includes the cheddar BLT but they also have savory oatmeal, a yogurt parfait, and a build-your-own omelette option, along with many other choices. While I opted for the strawberry lemonade I understand that their coffee options are delicious and favored by many. This is definitely a place that I will be patronizing again. It's a great spot with terrific food, reasonable prices, numerous options, including vegan options, and great service. Ample parking is also available. I highly recommend this spot for brunch on the patio!"
