"Do you have a cousin in the family who is unknown to most of your relatives? You will relate to this Mithaas location in Piscataway compared to its grand cousins in the Edison and North Brunswick locations. I?m surprised with the mixed and mostly bad reviews. This is the closest to our home and can make quick runs to it when we have unplanned guests coming home. We've had only sweets (desserts) and some chaat items taken home from here and looking forward to dine for a lunch or dinner meal soon. They have a clean restaurant with a huge parking and the staff are very receptive to your questions and requests. The taste without even having to mention, is outstanding. If you are new to Mithaas and have no clue on what to try for the first time? Try the Kesar Badam Milk drink and you wouldn't stop with just one!"

"We visited on Lunar New Year and were looking for a quick bite while waiting for the Year of Fortune drawing to begin. We ended up with a lot of French fries! The price was similar to a large fries from McDonald's, and they tasted like the fries at Hometown Buffet. The chili fries came with generous chunks of ground beef—so cheesy! There's not much difference, really; it's better to just upgrade to chili cheese fries for an extra 50 cents, which brings the price from $2.95 to $3.50. I wish they offered free soda like Red Hawk does, though; a fountain drink cost $2.25, which is a bit steep!"

"Intimate setting. The theater rooms are small holding maybe 60 viewers. The seats are cramped and remind me of low budget airline seats. I'm only 5'7 but my legs were very cramped and was thankful for the fact that I was sitting in a aisle seat so I could extend my legs into the aisle for some extra room. Ok, now for the plus side. The staff are extremely welcoming. This venue has a full bar with wine and beer available. This place also serves sandwiches and a variety of meal packages. I saw what looks like lasagna in the refrigerator case. I was very impressed with the small intimate setting vs the large lobby of the major theaters. This venue also has an extensive movie library from which one could rent DVD movies. Overall a very pleasant experience. Let's hope the seating arrangement gets a face lift."
