"So I 'm rating this based upon the pizza I purchased for lunch on 4/6/22. I 've never noticed this place prior to COVID so I wanted to try it out after returning to the office. I saw that they offered NY Style Pizza so while being skeptical about getting that NY quality in DC, I wanted to try it. Unfortunately the quality and service was lacking and there 's clearly room for improvement...if they care to improve. 1. Pizza quality. Not good. Flavors are mild at best and nothing screams deliciousness. I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza slice and buffalo chicken pizza slice. They use lower quality pre-cubed sausage pieces you 'd find at a school cafeteria and in the frozen food section in the grocery store instead of actual cooked fresh ground sausage. That took away from the flavor immediately. The slice was also way too sauced, and the sauce didn 't have much flavor. The buffalo chicken pizza was similar, where the chicken clearly wasn 't fresh and seemed like it was some bagged Tyson 's cubed chicken put on top of a pizza. The buffalo sauce had no flavor and the other sauce (blue cheese? Ranch? also lacked flavor enough so I couldn 't tell what it was. Additionally a buffalo chicken pizza shouldn 't have a tomato sauce base and if it does, it should be MUCH less so the tomato doesn 't overwhelm the rest of the flavors. Suffice to say, this was also over sauced which led to the next issue. Each slice was gloopy and soggy. This could have been mitigated by allowing the reheating of the slice to crisp up the dough, but the 30 seconds they heated up the slice (yea, 30 seconds was it. Didn 't do much either was clearly not enough time to mitigate the soggy dough. Thusly, the pizza slices did not hold together and sagged very sadly when eaten. The only redeeming thing was the crust which did have a little flavor and was crispy. Somehow that didn 't translate to the rest of the slice. If they reheated the slices for like 3-5 minutes (at least you 'd have a better experience and an actually hot slice of pizza. 2. Customer service. Not entirely terrible but I must have told the dude I wanted the pepperoni and sausage slice at least 5 times before he got it. Checkout also wanted to charge me for a drink but I told them no since I didn 't have one (if two slices and a drink was a special they didn 't inform me of that . All in all if you want pizza in a pinch the slices they offer are edible, but honestly I 'd order dominos over this place."

"My husband surprised my son and me with a trip to Hotel Bennett for our birthdays. It was the most incredible service and accommodations we have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and escorted to our beautiful suite. The rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable. The pool, spa, Kings Club, and on-site restaurants were all exceptional and staffed with caring employees. What truly made our stay exceptional was the outstanding service we received at the Kings Club. Alanna greeted us immediately and had drinks in our hands in no time. She was incredibly helpful and thoughtful throughout our visit, ensuring my husband had perfectly cooked eggs for breakfast, delivering my lunch to the pool, and recommending a fantastic sparkling rose for us to enjoy by the pool. Alanna even managed to secure a reservation for Hall’s Chop House at 6:30pm on a Saturday night, which I had been unable to do on my own. Our meal at Gabrielle was outstanding, with delicious cocktails and a plate of macarons sent to our table for our birthdays. The food at Kings Club was superb, with numerous breakfast options, a delicious lunch of salmon, green beans, potatoes, and salad, and delectable evening appetizers like coconut shrimp, shrimp cocktail, Brie wrapped in phyllo, and spring rolls. We also indulged in a poolside cabana stocked with a refrigerator full of sodas and bottled water, as well as excellent poolside food and beverage service. The staff made sure all of our needs were met, and we never wanted for anything. The spa was incredibly inviting and relaxing, and I had the best massage of my life there. We could not have asked for a better stay - we were treated like royalty! We will definitely be returning in the future."

"Don't be fooled, this place is pretty rough. I was fooled, figuring I'll finally try them out. I ordered a burger and fries. I didn't eat what I ordered. The burger was average priced, but quite possibly the worst I've ever had in my entire life. All you could taste was old meat and salt. The fries taste of old grease, and somehow aren't salty (maybe it all went to the burger instead. I'm not kidding,I couldn't even feed the remaining to the rat that lives in the alley by my apartment, it wouldn't touch it. The place is beyond dirty, and the workers cast looks just as dirty. I'm sure there's people who love something about this place, but don't let the lower prices fool you, you truly do get what you pay for. I love dive bars, I don't mind gritty joints, hell I've eaten out of the dumpster behind 7/11 in Chicago 10 years when I was in a very bad place, and I'd do that again sooner than I'd buy another burger. I'll try anything twice, except for this place, I won't be trying this twice. I'm sure some people like stuff from here, and that's fine, but I'd tread lightly. I respect their history, but sometimes older isn't better. This one was a bummer. Maybe I caught them on a bad night, but I won't try again to find out. Who cares though? They clearly make their rent anyway. I'm sure they won't miss me, our mutual avoidance will persist. No salt, they've used it all already. Parking: I'd avoid parking if you can. Wheelchair accessibility: You should be able to get in just fine, if your wheels don't get stuck in the dirt on the floors."
