"July 2015 I 've been here twice. I am Vietnamese and I know what authentic food should taste like. My first time I ordered their grilled pork chops with rice and I must say it was not bad. The taste was good and the seasoning was tasty. It was the grill taste that made it better actually. The second time I had a bowl of Pho. This was a bit disappointing because the taste was not the real pho flavor I was accustomed to. It was very off and tasted more like other varieties of soup like 'banh canh ' or 'hu tieu '. I assume they used the same broth for most soup recipe, but I was expecting a more prominent pho flavor. I didn 't get that. It was disappointing. Their pricing for a bowl of pho is a bit high, and just pricing overall. You 're expecting around $10 11 for most entrees, while others are around $8 9. I went to Pho Xe Lua in downtown and it was so much better, and I paid $8.10 (tax included) for their X large bowl too. The pho flavor is authentic and very similar to other pho joints I 've been too (Chicago, New York, Minnesota). Downtown Philly Chinatown is where I will go for authentic Vietnamese food, taste wise from now on."
