"I waited over an hour for my food delivery, and it kept getting delayed. When the driver finally arrived, he told me that they had just started preparing my order. Then, out of the blue, my order was canceled. It was such a waste of time! This was my second and now last chance with this place. "The food was so delicious ?. The chicken was fresh, hot, and so flavorful. The red beans and rice we're really good also. Plus, they have good cheese steaks. I love how it's a convenience store also, they sell so much stuff. Like fruits and fresh salads. I can't forget their smoothes were soo good. Definitely going back I love a one stop shop. "I love this establishment. It has that small town, homey feel when you are there. The staff is Amazing. The Food is Delish! Go meet one of the owners, John. He'll treat you like you are his best friend. You have the options of darts, quick draw and tons of tv's to watch your favorite sports. It's always a great time when you are there! "The food is so flavorful and delicious. My hubby loved it too, he recently was able to start eating again after suffering a stroke back in August and I wanted a tasty, healthy option and this food fit the bill! We had the Build your own bowl with chicken and brown rice plus a side of roasted red skins with parmesan and it was divine. He also had a protein power ball for dessert and he thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I went to have lunch I ordered grilled chicken sandwich ONLY all of a sudden I was charged 15 and change. I asked for what oh you got the combo. Ummmmmm no I didn't I ordered a sandwich only I waited 20 min and then they brought it and It was not what I ordered they gave me a chicken cutlet that was fried I cannot eat fried foods So I told the guy I didn't order this he said you said crispy chicken I said no it didn't I said grilled so they made me another 1 another 20 minutes I had to wait so it's time to go back to work so I said to go on the way to work I opened it up and it was burnt grilled chicken and to top it off it had cheese on it. I'm allergic to cheese. I was already 20 minutes away And so upset the fries were cold and dark I couldn't eat nothing and spent almost $16 that I could easily want to McDonald's for $9 got a full meal for less money and done to perfection my way I will never go back here 1st time going never again I was visiting in North Bergen and decided to try it"

"Would easily be a 5 star place if the prices or specials were a bit better. Love the ambiance, great bar! Amazing carved wood, rustic vibe, super comfortable barstools- literally primo barstools. lol felt like a Mercedes Benz interior seat. Nice huge TVs. Good sound. Ashlee the bartender was pleasant and attentive/friendly. 10 wings at market price were $17.99 I think. Which to me is super expensive for a local bar. The cheapest chicken sandwich was $12+ $2 for fries instead of chips. Chicken breast seemed a bit cold or not too hot. Tenders were standard. Fries were good. The pretzel appetizer was banging! Beer cheese was delicious! Best I ever had and YUGE! Yuenling $4 bottle of fat tire $5. So beer prices don’t seem bad. My best recommendation is to have a burger special night and you need a beer bottle or can list. There’s an ample selection but no menu or list. Also, you can’t have premium prices and Mayo PACKETS. No dude. No. Overall a beautiful bar with great comfort and ambiance but IMO pricey food for the Saegertown market. Thursday night wing special. Talked to the owner manager, he mentioned specials, seems like their doing well for themselves as the own the saloon place as well. Def recommend updating your Facebook or website with weekly specials and or updated menu as it was hard to find info on. (I’m a freelance marketer- lmk if I can help ya grow. cheers"

"I may be slightly biased because this is my niece Deb McCreary's place. However, this Ice Cream Fountain is truly unique! I very much love the Pretzel ice cream and I'm normally a chocolate or mint chocolate ice cream. Eckels Ice Cream Fountain also does lunch . You have the pick of candy there as well. Eckels also does wonderful window displays, according to times of year or event. There is entertainment, you will have to find out what is happening when you are in Mechanicsburg, Pa. I'm not sure but I believe you can book place for private parties. Also will have to talk to Deb McCreary for info on that as well. Last but not least a movie was shot there with Angelina Jolie, Winona Ryder and Whoopie Goldberg. There are pictures encased in thick glass on tables and booths. Finally there is a Vintage Pharmacy there that has original prescriptions and instruments and medicines from another era. When you visit be sure to look up at the original ceilings, punched tin, absolutely beautiful. There are Cola Cola soda machine from back in the sixties and things to buy in the big glass counters (that's where you will find the candy as well). There is something for everyone at Eckels Ice Cream Fountain. Come by and ask the Soda Jerk for a dish of hand scooped ice cream for dessert after you have lunch. Every time I come up from Mississippi I have to go to Eckels Ice Cream Fountain for the best ice cream around. Sure hope to see you next time I come and visit. "I’ve come to be known as the VR guy for some reason. This place is my go-to bar and it's always a good time. There are a few oddballs around, on both sides. I even had someone call me Brandon—who's this Brandon, anyway? The bar has a small arcade, which is better than having no arcade at all; they have around 30 pinball machines. They don’t always work, but they refresh the lineup every few months with new machines. The staff is cute, but they never flirt with me—just my luck!"
