"We ordered a selection of beers and wines, some appetizers, and entrées. While I didn't manage to get feedback from everyone in our group, here are a few highlights from my own experience: The zucchini fries were hot, fresh, and served in a generous portion! I also heard good things about the pulled pork poutine; although I didn't try the pork, the fries topped with cheese curds and gravy were delicious. They have uniquely textured fries here—starchier and sturdier than usual, which is hard to describe.
The Reuben sandwich had a nice rye flavor and was quite decent overall. The coleslaw, however, was served warm and not very appealing; perhaps it got heated from being on a hot plate? The Southwest Caesar salad featured a surprisingly spicy dressing that seemed to have jalapeño blended in, giving it a unique twist.
I ordered the fried fish tacos, choosing onion rings as my side from several options available. The tacos came with two large portions of fish, but I found the flour tortillas underwhelming—thick and somewhat spongy, reminiscent of cheap grocery store brands. The mango salsa was on the sweeter side, and I would have appreciated a touch of lime or something to add a bit of tartness, but overall the tacos were quite impressive. The onion rings were pleasantly sweet as well.
In summary, the food here offers good value, and some members of our group even took growlers home. The atmosphere felt more restaurant-like than brewery, which was a nice surprise!"
