"When I asked the staff member—who didn’t seem to be the cook but rather prepared the food and worked the register—about the gyro, he presented me with his version, which resembled a Mexican torta de lengua. I pointed out that this didn’t seem like a traditional gyro, but he insisted it was the best and that I would love it. Regrettably, I paid for the meal and ate there anyway.
The meat was diced, chopped, and served cold. The tzatziki sauce was diluted, which made it even less enjoyable. I was so disappointed, yet I finished my meal because in my family, we never waste food.
I also felt compelled to mention that the bathroom was not clean and lacked hand soap, with a sign indicating that it was out of service. While I personally don’t need to use restaurant bathrooms, any establishment should provide a clean space for customers to wash up before eating.
Lastly, the parking lot was dirty and empty, and there were no wheelchair accessibility options. Overall, my experience at Gyro King was quite unsatisfactory."
