"This was our first visit to Kumo, and it did not go as smoothly as we had hoped. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait—first to be seated and then to be served. There was only one hibachi chef, and our table was third on the list, meaning we had to wait while he finished with the other two tables. If they were experiencing a tight schedule, it would have been helpful to inform us when we made our reservation rather than only when we were seated, especially since we were asked to order appetizers due to the delay in the chef's arrival. We ended up waiting over an hour at our table. The hibachi food wasn’t the best I’ve had; perhaps the long wait dulled our appetite, but it really lacked flavor. On a positive note, the sushi was delicious, and they offer some good vegetarian options. The ambience was nice, but the overall experience was marred by poor management. A lengthy wait can take away from the enjoyment of the meal, and when the food also lacks flavor and energy, it detracts from the experience even more. Therefore, I’m giving it a three-star rating."
