"The food was just average, and the service was terrible. I placed a pickup order for a #10 and #4 sandwich, but the #10 was supposed to have slaw and didn’t! They also forgot to include the side of mac and cheese with my order, so I had to go back inside to get it. The person taking my order, both on the phone and in person, seemed rather out of it, which was off-putting. It was such a letdown because I've been coming to this place on and off for years since it was located by the KFC on River Rd. The food used to be fantastic, even if the prices were a bit steep; it felt like a worthwhile splurge. But what happened? The chicken and pork tasted like a mushy blend, and the sauce was overwhelmingly smoky. The mac and cheese had no flavor at all. I really expected to be full after a BBQ meal, but that wasn't the case this time. The portions used to overflow the box, and the sauce was once perfectly balanced. It's such a disappointing experience. We definitely won't be returning."
