"Buddy's is a relatively new restaurant in the area, and as a BBQ lover, I knew I had to give it a try. They offer individual meat plates as well as family platters featuring brisket, pulled pork, chicken wings, and half chickens, accompanied by all the delicious sides. Upon entering, you'll be greeted by friendly staff in a modern yet rustic setting that's so charming I’d love to have a space like it in my own home. The service was excellent, and the prices were quite reasonable compared to other BBQ joints. It’s clear that this place is a local favorite, as you'll need to visit during off-peak hours to snag a table. The brisket was juicy, the pulled pork was top-notch, but the hush puppies were truly unique. They seemed to be preparing them in a style reminiscent of funnel cakes. Normally, I'm not a fan of hush puppies, but these were the best I’ve ever tasted! I would return just for them, not to mention the BBQ. If you ever find yourself in this small town in Virginia, you must check it out!"
