"I used to order from this place alot some years ago and enjoyed their food but the last few times the food has been some of the worse. Mozzarella sticks.that are cooked so long all the cheese is gone from inside, subs that are soaking wet by the time you get them. Bread is so soggy I can't even eat it. Tonight though my wife and I really wanted a meatball sub. My wife said she didn't think they could mess that up so we ordered. The subs came and were scorched...the taste of their oven was all you could taste on the sub. There was 4 meatballs on a 12 inch sub and my wife said they tasted like burnt Salisbury steak and I agree. It's a shame because I really used to order from here alot and enjoyed their food. Don't waste your money."

"So I 'm rating this based upon the pizza I purchased for lunch on 4/6/22. I 've never noticed this place prior to COVID so I wanted to try it out after returning to the office. I saw that they offered NY Style Pizza so while being skeptical about getting that NY quality in DC, I wanted to try it. Unfortunately the quality and service was lacking and there 's clearly room for improvement...if they care to improve. 1. Pizza quality. Not good. Flavors are mild at best and nothing screams deliciousness. I got a pepperoni and sausage pizza slice and buffalo chicken pizza slice. They use lower quality pre-cubed sausage pieces you 'd find at a school cafeteria and in the frozen food section in the grocery store instead of actual cooked fresh ground sausage. That took away from the flavor immediately. The slice was also way too sauced, and the sauce didn 't have much flavor. The buffalo chicken pizza was similar, where the chicken clearly wasn 't fresh and seemed like it was some bagged Tyson 's cubed chicken put on top of a pizza. The buffalo sauce had no flavor and the other sauce (blue cheese? Ranch? also lacked flavor enough so I couldn 't tell what it was. Additionally a buffalo chicken pizza shouldn 't have a tomato sauce base and if it does, it should be MUCH less so the tomato doesn 't overwhelm the rest of the flavors. Suffice to say, this was also over sauced which led to the next issue. Each slice was gloopy and soggy. This could have been mitigated by allowing the reheating of the slice to crisp up the dough, but the 30 seconds they heated up the slice (yea, 30 seconds was it. Didn 't do much either was clearly not enough time to mitigate the soggy dough. Thusly, the pizza slices did not hold together and sagged very sadly when eaten. The only redeeming thing was the crust which did have a little flavor and was crispy. Somehow that didn 't translate to the rest of the slice. If they reheated the slices for like 3-5 minutes (at least you 'd have a better experience and an actually hot slice of pizza. 2. Customer service. Not entirely terrible but I must have told the dude I wanted the pepperoni and sausage slice at least 5 times before he got it. Checkout also wanted to charge me for a drink but I told them no since I didn 't have one (if two slices and a drink was a special they didn 't inform me of that . All in all if you want pizza in a pinch the slices they offer are edible, but honestly I 'd order dominos over this place."

"Great pizza service. Thumbs up/great Pizza!! After reading sheris review i was curious because ive heard good things about this place, Me and my wife decided to try Aldos ny pizza. we where greeted apon entering and placed our order. staff was very friendly. fast and wonderfull pizza, and a great anti pasto salad, it was big and full of toppings. The slices are huge also. ive been around and these are a great deal for there quality. the walk way in the store front had a few vagrents but i know the city controls that area and not the businesses around it."

"I brought my mother to the pizza. I ordered a little pizza. on the board it said 13.95 when I asked what was the most popular pizza, he said pfefferoni and listed some options with pfefferoni. I chose the meat lover. He didn't tell me there was a fee for it. when I went to pay, one of the workers said something to the cash in Spanish and then he said that the 24,60 will be, I said it wasn't 13,95? also on the board extra meat said 3 extra. and he said with the extra meat it was really disappointed 24.60. service was slow when we came with only 2 other customers. I understand that they have to earn money, but do this to customers who look like tourist is not fair. we had a good mother daughter time otherwise and liked the service. the pizza was also great. but to not warn customers of the cost and simply make themselves if the payment is not correct. I came because the reviews were good, but they warned that they would benefit from them. I had not tipped."

"Don't ask too use the room if your African American .. I work across the street at a gas station, for over 2 years ?.. I was told by a chubby manager female , that I had too buy something ? too use the restroom. Even though I've bought stuff there several times . "What an experience, we were completely ignored by our waitress as were the people seated behind us but for even longer. I'm talking like 20 minutes at a time she would be absent. THE PLACE WAS EMPTY SHE HAD 2 TABLES. Sat down handed me the menu walked away for 20 minutes, came back asked me if I wanted something to drink walked away for 20 minutes, came back with the drinks and asked me if I wanted something to eat left for the 40 minutes during which time the kind dark-haired server brought out our food, we ate and then had to ask the bartender for our check. Got a little bit of everything on the menu, all of it was mediocre. The house salad dressing is basically just water, I got the clams casino Pizza which, yes I admit is odd, but I was feeling adventurous and I regretted it. I got the homemade lasagna, which for the first time in my life I found a lasagna that didn't taste very good. Give somewhere else your money, this place absolutely sucks. Ps: Apparently my wife liked the pesto. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4"

"I have been here for going on 2 years and always biked and ran past this place and yeah at first glance it doesn't look like the most amazing place. I decided to finally try it out. Lady on the phone seemed really nice and ordering was quick, even got my pizza well ahead of the possible 45mins she said it might take. I've had my share of mom and pop pizza's and I actually like the pie I received from them, plentiful with the meaty toppings being I had ordered a meat lovers. I will most likely order from them again as it was filling and very reasonably priced."
