"While out shopping, I decided to take a break for lunch. I turned into a small shopping strip hoping to eat at a specific restaurant but ended up in a different area. Luckily, I stumbled upon Nakedfin Poke Bowl. I opted for one of their signature bowls called the Heatwave, which features tuna, salmon, green onions, cucumber, and generous chunks of avocado, all served over sushi rice. I was concerned that it might be too spicy due to the jalapeños, but it turned out not to be spicy at all, and I even questioned whether there were any jalapeños in the bowl. The tuna and salmon were incredibly fresh, but I felt that both could benefit from a bit more marinade, as could the other ingredients. Having grown up in Hawaii and loving poke, I'm really glad I found this spot. While some ingredients aren't traditional compared to original poke recipes, they are all healthy. Next time, I plan to try a Build Your Own option. If they could just play some Hawaiian music instead of the Caribbean tunes, it would truly feel like a trip back to Hawaii."
