"We didn't receive the guacamole or tortillas that were supposed to accompany the fajitas. On top of that, I ordered a Bloody Mary, and it was so bitter that I couldn't drink it. When it arrived, the drink was noticeably below the rim of the glass. My husband and I tasted it both before and after stirring, and neither of us could manage to finish it due to the bitterness, so I decided to send it back. This was the first time I've ever returned a drink; even if a Bloody Mary isn't great, I'll usually drink it, but this was just unacceptable.
A woman who claimed to be the manager came over to ask what was wrong. When we explained the situation, she said they couldn't take the drink back and that we should have sent it back before tasting it. She refused to remove it from the bill or offer a replacement. I tried to explain that how could we know it was bad without tasting it first? The drink was served well below the rim in an eight-ounce glass, and this conversation escalated quickly; she was loud, rude, and insulting. Although she eventually agreed to take the drink off the bill, I was so put off by her attitude that I decided against ordering anything else.
After this incident, service only worsened. My husband asked our server for water since I hadn't had anything to drink, but he ended up having to ask a different staff member to call over the owner so we could explain what happened. Since I don't often go out to eat and need to avoid certain foods, experiencing such poor service is simply unacceptable. We won’t be returning. We've given this restaurant multiple chances, but we prefer to spend our money where we feel valued and respected."
