"Hello Bistro is a newer establishment located on College Avenue. From what I've gathered, it was founded by the owners of Eat 'N Park, a well-known food institution in Pittsburgh that has become somewhat outdated in recent years. The bistro's menu is straightforward, featuring burgers or salads, along with the option of fresh-cut fries if desired. Prices typically range from $10 to $15, so I would compare it to other fast food places that prioritize fresher and better ingredients.
I’ve had the chance to try the burgers several times, and I can say that the buns are fresh, the patties are flavorful, and the topping options vary depending on the style of burger you choose. The fries are freshly cut, thin, and appear to be double-fried, making them beautifully crispy, which I absolutely love. The salads are available in a variety of types or you can create your own from a vast selection of fresh ingredients. They are quite large and often hard to finish in one sitting.
Overall, I’ve really enjoyed this place as a fast and healthier dining option. My only criticism is that, like many others in this post-pandemic world, they have struggled with staffing shortages, which can lead to long lines and inconsistencies in the menu."
