"Tea party gone wrong. Sadly I was looking forward to this. I check reviews on other sites. For you can do better. Save your cash and head to the Newsfeed cafe or do the bar. I’ll start with the pros:The tea was hotWe had a selection of tea sandwichesBar drinks are good. Now the cons:Apparently it’s the managers pet peeve to have coats on the backs of seats in the restaurant. I understand but citing a security concern for the reason is ridiculous and unacceptable. I say this because we aren’t screened bags are coming in from all over the place. Again it was and you WILL be hungry when you leave. Then we said we had a reservation they hustled everyone into a long line for a mandatory coat check. Like several others we went to the host, checked in, and were seated. Then the manager came to us and he will make you paranoid as he paces what SHOULD be a relaxing tea room the entire time. The manager cited it was THEN “so no one would spill on it”. He came to our table and took our coats. Normally I would have thought it was a kind gesture. Nope. So at this point it’s been a security hazard and then so “no one would spill on it”. Lastly we were told it’s a trip hazard. Anyways I think a picture speaks volumes and sadly I see loads of coats. While the sign says mandatory the rules don’t apply for some or the bar. The “security” and “spill” issues doesn’t apply to all only some. I saw someone mentioned it was because of their race—nope you’re aren’t alone. The manager just hates coats and he hates the folks in them. For find tea elsewhere. On our way out we told a family of save their money and dine elsewhere. For that at least have a pleasant atmosphere. It’s just not a pleasant experience. Maybe In the summer...security isn’t an issue because of the coats"

"Ordered a southwest chicken burrito for lunch. Paid $17. It was one of the worst burritos I have ever had. The tortilla was hard, and the burrito was 90% cheese. I?ve attached a picture. For $17 I got about 6 bites. Monday August 1, 2022: UpdateAFTER restaurant response: I do appreciate the response. However, I do question the truthfulness of the response posted. I hopethat in addition to the unintentional poor quality of the food, it was also unintentional you may have also mixed up thecustomer tickets in your timeline. Please note: Contrary to what the owner stated, I did not pre order ?around 8:45 9am to bepicked up around 11:30am?. While it is true I picked up the order at 12:56pm, my wife called and placed the order at 12:26pm.This was our first and only contact with the restaurant to order. I?ve attached the call log to show. Therefore, it is A)IMPOSSIBLE that the order was prepped at 11:25am, an hour before my wife even ordered; and B) from the time of placing the orderto final pick up, it was a total of 30 minutes, and assuming 20 minutes of prep time, That leaves my food sitting for about 10minutes, NOT 91 MINUTES. Additionally, the point of google reviews is to leave an honest review as to the quality of theproduct and service. I did that. Again I hope your extremely inaccurate timeline was merely an honest mistake, rather than tointentionally deceive your customers to look good. Thank you."
