"The meal plates are an incredible value, featuring everything you need: a main dish, sushi roll, salad, soup, and dessert. The portions are generous! I ordered the chicken plate, and while the chicken was a bit dry and the sushi roll didn’t taste as fresh, the carrot ginger soup was outstanding. The salad had a delicious citrus dressing, and the dessert was surprisingly amazing! I enjoyed a sampler of three cookies and blondies: sesame matcha, matcha chocolate chip, and regular chocolate chip, paired with a dollop of whipped cream. The matcha flavor was robust (which I absolutely love), the texture was chewy, and the whipped cream was thick yet light and airy. I also tried a bite of my friend's catfish, which was incredibly tender and silky, and my other friend's minced beef had a rich miso flavor. I can imagine the atmosphere would be quite different sitting outside! I definitely plan to return for lunch, sit outdoors, and try the salmon bowl with lemonade next time (and I’m eager to check out their downtown location)."

"I went to this restaurant for the first time and I will definitely be returning. I highly recommend the passion cooler, which is not too sweet and has a fruity flavor with boba and ice. My partner tried the house milk tea with 50% sweetness, which has a more delicate tea essence flavor. The drink has a refreshing citrus taste with a hint of mint, similar to fancy lemonade tea. The level of sweetness was just right for me. The boba has a strong chewiness, which I personally enjoyed as it slowed me down from finishing the drink too quickly. The boba is unflavored, which I also prefer as it allows the drink to stand out. The restaurant is a good hangout spot since they have board games available. I loved the drink so much that I think it will be the only one I order when I come back. If the owner has any other recommendations based on my preferences, I would love to try them. The tea and boba were amazing, and I also appreciate the clever logos at the restaurant."

"Tilt Coffee Bar can be hard to find so make sure you use your GPS. We got lucky and found metered street parking by the steps to the outdoor courtyard where Tilt Coffee Bar is located. They have outdoor seating with a huge metal flower hanging above. We were waiting at the far corner of the courtyard so we were surprised when the cashier lady brought our drinks to us!Iced Ceremonial Grade Cloud Matcha $7): I'm not usually a fan of ceremonial grade matcha since it's bitter or has an overwhelming matcha taste but this was really good. You can taste the matcha and milk components separately as well and know Tilt uses quality products.Iced Sweetened Cloud Matcha $6.50): We asked to make it vegan so she used coconut cream but I'm not sure which type of milk alternative she used. The coconut cream went really well with the matcha but added a bit too much sweetness to the drink. Other than that, it was so delicious! I think I'll try the coconut cream with the ceremonial grade cloud matcha next time to see if that's the perfect match for me :)Hot Nutty Cloud $6.50) Oat Milk $0.75): I got this drink hot so the cup was much smaller than the iced drinks. They couldn't substitute the cream since the peanut butter is incorporated into the cream. The flavor was perfect and so unique. I wasn't sure how they were going to pull peanut butter flavored cream off but they did. Definitely recommend trying if you're feeling adventurous."
