"The salsa, chicken tortilla soup, and service here are quite good. The charro beans were decent, but they didn't quite have the Tex-Mex flavor I expected; they tasted more like smoked beans you’d encounter at a BBQ cook-off. Unfortunately, the chicken in the enchiladas was rather bland and flavorless. My photos captured its appearance well—it looked almost grayish-blue in person. The sour cream sauce resembled warm sour cream slathered on top of the enchiladas and was similarly lacking in flavor. The rice was also bland. The brisket chile relleno missed the mark as well; the brisket felt more like pot roast and was chewy. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant are pleasant, but it was extremely cold inside. On the plus side, the service was excellent, so I’ll definitely give an extra star for that. Sadly, the food really brings this place down."
