"The owners are beekeepers, and they incorporate their harvested honey into many of their homemade dishes. Once we were seated, we were greeted with a plate of honey oat bread and butter while we looked over the menu, which changes weekly. Our meals arrived quickly, and everyone was pleased with their selections. I chose a cup of butternut squash bisque and a mixed salad dressed with their house-made honey vinaigrette. Our waitress mentioned that all the salad dressings are homemade! The salad was a refreshing, light option alongside the honey oat bread.
The highlight of our meal was the dessert sampler, featuring an assortment of homemade treats including apple pie, mint chocolate cake, and pumpkin pecan cheesecake—everything was delicious! On our way out, one of the friendly waitresses showed us the two private dining rooms available for group gatherings. One room has an Indiana theme, decorated with cowhide chairs, vintage Indiana maps, and memorabilia. The other room is bee-themed, showcasing more vintage collectibles. With the holidays approaching, these spaces would be perfect for any social event!
