"The ribs and tri-tip were merely acceptable—not good or bad—but the pulled pork was definitely the highlight of my meal; it was genuinely tasty. Unfortunately, the sides left much to be desired. The macaroni salad consisted of undercooked spiral pasta tossed in what tasted like creamy Caesar dressing, while the mashed potatoes and gravy fell flat. The mashed potatoes were dry and lacking flavor—I couldn't detect any butter, cream, or even salt. The gravy seemed like an afterthought, just barely draped over the top of my foam cup.
Given the slim pickings in the area, I can see why this place has remained open for so long. However, it’s possible that they just had an off day in the kitchen. If anyone responsible for those sides happens to read this, I sincerely hope you can improve."
