"The food was ok. I honestly thought from the pictures we would get something just as pretty but we didn’t. We had the dragon roll jerry roll Chicken Teriyaki and shrimp teriyaki with the miso soup salad and rice. The miso soup was actually good. The Chicken Teriyaki was bland soupy like sauce on a fry skillet with lots of onions and veggies. I could see and taste butter on my plate. The side rice was hard and very stuck together. We didn’t have plates to mix the rice and chicken together so we needed up making a mess trying to eat the two together. The shrimp was made in the same chicken sauce so everything tasted the same. Our daughter had the same chicken in a bento box. No difference in taste. The waitress started off rude but her attitude started to change once we were half way thru with our food. It was only 3 couples inside eating and one take out order as we were there. I even made reservations but it was pointless they didn’t even listen to me when I told her I made them online. Would I go back... no. Would I recommend it...no. We’ll stick to Kona Grill in short pump."

"I'm back!!! I am so happy that I have convinced my family to go to O Sushi. Even though it's a bit further for them, they always agree to go to O! We ordered the lunch combos, which were fantastic in every way. The meal started with excellent miso soup and a freshly prepared salad with crispy thin cucumbers, red ripe tomatoes, homemade ginger dressing, and crisp lettuce. I especially enjoyed the fresh wasabi. If you have never tried it fresh, you absolutely must. Once you do, you may never be satisfied with anything less. The sushi is top-notch, top-grade, and prepared with superb service! The teriyaki salmon was especially delicious. Hats off to the chef!"

"The food here is excellent. They have very many creative vegan options including sweet potato! They usually have the tuna belly which is fantastic. They always come to refill the hot tea. The hot summer roll is AMAZING! I can't stay away from this place because of this. Even when I come in right before they close at 10:30pm and order, the staff is always very friendly. The chefs are also very nice and happy to answer questions."

"Ordered a pretty wide variety of food and the dumplings/gyozas were the worst I've had in any restaurant they fell apart when picked up and had no impressionable flavor. Additionally, the noodles were drenched in oil but the sashimi/sushi were alright.Cocktails were on the sweet side but fairly strong, decent but overpriced experience.Atmosphere was really bizarre: Spanish songs with EDM themes were blasting and everyone had to yell at each other to hear one another, our waitress was hoarse before we even ordered. It's a shame since the interior felt really classy and was nicely lit.Probably an especially poor experience for me since it was dinner time and they were busy, but I really don't see myself coming back with the kind of prices they have. Even at half price it's a hard maybe with the biggest pull being its interior."

"The sushi here is ok but definitely not the best I've ever had. Most of their rolls are fried (tempura style) so for someone with IBS, it was a little hard to find foods that wouldn't trigger my IBS. I came at 1pm (1 hour before they close at 2 for lunch) and the train was empty!! The chefs started getting lazy exactly 60 minutes before closing for lunch. "This small sushi joint is a pot of gold in the U District. I love that it's a hideaway place, tucked outside the hustle and bustle of the Ave. PLEASE ask the chef what is fresh and special for the evening; it is almost always the best choice. I have been 3 times and have been overwhelmed with amazing food and generous service, kindness and great value. This is my top pick for sushi in Seattle, and that's saying a lot."
