"This little gem has the largest selection of magazines on the north west side. There is a book nook in the back where I found a gift for a friend who is a bit difficult to shop for. On the walls you can find art work for sale. Many books available about Chicago. There is a cafe with a variety of hot and cold beverages as well as pastries for sale. Seating is set up inside the cute cafe or outside for fresh air and covid social distancing protocols. 9/26 masks are required and counters were wiped down after customers."

"The restaurant offers a good variety of drinks, but the only options available are milk and soy. It would be great if they added almond milk, oat milk, or other alternatives like most other cafes. The taste was good, especially the boba. The prices were quite high and the atmosphere was a bit dull, but my friends reassured me that the drinks weren't too sweet. The biggest downside was the lack of coffee. Please consider adding a coffee machine!"

"My favorite coffee shop in San Francisco, which is saying a lot considering we are a mecca for coffee! Since the start of the pandemic, their shops have had no indoor seating and the lines can be quite long. However, it is definitely worth the wait! My go-to drink is their Snowy Plover espresso with foamy water and homemade whipped cream - it's a delicious treat in itself. Their breakfast sandwiches are filling and delicious, and if you're not in the mood for caffeine, their ginger teas with fresh ginger and beautiful syrup are perfect for warming you up, especially on chillier days in the outer areas of the city."

"The staff is great! Especially Michelle, Tina, and Donovan. John 's cool too. The owner, John 's aunt is nice, but usually too busy to say more than, Hello. That 's just an observation and not meant to be negative. The milk teas with boba are fantastic! I try different combinations, but chocolate wintermelon is definitely a favorite. The pastries and such are great too. I haven 't found one that I don 't like yet. I only gave the atmosphere 4 stars because I prefer a more homey atmosphere at a coffee/tea shop. Also, though their hot coffee drinks are good, I prefer the milk teas, Thai iced coffee or the Special Ice Shaker (strong coffee with caramel)."

"I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The coffee was outstanding, and the service was incredibly friendly. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially with all the amazing local art displayed on the walls. However, the kombucha could use some improvement in terms of its fizz and flavor; it might benefit from a longer fermentation process. But everyone has their own taste! I will definitely return for more coffee since the selection was fantastic."

"The atmosphere is lovely and the staff is very friendly! We enjoyed a delightful white chocolate peppermint scone and a warm, tasty apple fritter. However, we were disappointed with the white chocolate peppermint lattes. They were barely warm and quite bland; I could only detect a hint of peppermint if I tried really hard. Given the bustling business, I’m sure they have many excellent drinks, so I hope to have a better experience next time. UPDATE: I returned with my two daughters and, once again, received excellent customer service. We ordered iced coffees in cinnamon roll, gingerbread, and salted caramel flavors, and we were all very pleased with both the flavors and our overall experience! We will definitely return whenever we’re in the mood for a great drink at this charming coffee shop."
