"I called ahead to place my dinner order and then picked it up. The restaurant had a sleek, upscale, and trendy atmosphere. I imagine dining in would have been even better. The prices were a bit higher compared to other Chinese restaurants, but the food was excellent. The quality, freshness, ingredients, preparation, and portion sizes were all top-notch. We tried the house special chowmein and spicy fried chicken, both of which were fantastic. I would definitely recommend this place and plan on returning myself. I placed another order and the food was just as great. A significant update: after ordering delivery from this restaurant multiple times through Uber Eats, I decided to dine in at the restaurant this time. The food and ambiance were both wonderful. The portion sizes for dine-in were much larger than for delivery."

"I would consider this an overpriced restaurant, with average cuisine and poor customer service Beware of take out. They did not check my order for correctness. I live 1 minutes away and I like my food hot, so I got there a few minutes earlier than they suggested. I paid and waited since they stated order was not ready. I still managed to get cold food! Also, beware of allergies also as they did not care of my complaint that the shrimp ingredient as appetizer can be easily overlooked on the menu and the order taker did not point out. Furthermore if the shrimp was an appetizer, why the h... would they dump it with the rest of the entrée. For me being allergic to shellfish, it made the whole meal inedible. I was also disappointed by the chicken fried rice and biting into small gritty shards which I later assumed were either eggshells or small shards from a broken plate. I could get over most of this, but find myself motivated and disappointed enough to write a review due to lack of concern or empathy and from the restaurant staff and management. I called back as soon as I got home to my hungry guests and discovered the issues. The call taker seemed unconcerned about the shrimp incident or my dislike for having dumped an appetizer in the same container as the entrée. the caller mentioned a manager would call me back. 2 days waiting and I received no call! I would add the photos but I think the point that i will be spending my money elsewhere next time.!"

"It was New Year’s Eve (early, though) and check in was a bit chaotic. No one was at the desk and people with earlier reservations were still waiting. There was a group of 18 waiting to be seated but they had only written down 13 and were struggling to accommodate the party. Overall, we had a nice experience and a fun chef. We’d go back in the future."

"We ordered sushi, beer, sashimi, dandan noodles, and tuna tataki. Service was excellent and the spicy tuna roll was quite good. Sashimi was serviceable and the eel in particular was quite nice as a change of pace from the usual options I see for sashimi platters. Unfortunately both the tataki and Dan Dan noodles were quite bad. The tataki was extremely thin, which resulted in the uncooked centers being very dry. I don't know if this is an effort to skimp on the amount of tuna used but it ruined the dish. The noodles as a whole were likely the worst part it was closer to a chow mein or lo mein and frankly still managed to be incredibly tasteless with zero heat. Considering dan dan noodles are typically a numbing Szechuan dish this did not seem to resemble it in any way, and the only flavor that came through were the bell peppers (which don't belong in the dish in the first place). Stay away from this iteration until they rework it. Overall I would come back for the sushi rolls and nothing else."

"I'm absolutely amazed at how much I love this place. Very simple and super clean. However, the food is FULL of FLAVOR!! First of all, let me just begin with the greeting I received upon coming into this establishment! I felt welcomed and at home. Ellen was on the television so that absolutely helped me laugh while sipping on a sweet Tamara Plum Wine! I had General Tso's Chicken with Fried Rice and ate the whole meal with chopsticks! The cooks, and the server were all extremely gracious! The prices were absolutely reasonable! I felt I've been there before! I'll most definitely return! Only left the bones from the chicken wings! This is a 5 Star Restaurant! I felt safe, I feel full and even had green tea! I absolutely appreciate the service, the food, the energy, and overall the culture and atmosphere. I want to go to Beijing now!!!!?"

"It has been aome time since we last visited this location(pre plandemic). So things have changed there. It is still all you can eat, just not buffet. The menu has been reduced drastically. The food was pretty god for what it is. The sushi was okay too. There are no more crab legs and pmenty of ther things are now gone from the menu. The fried Calimari was good well. The downside. I observed one of the guys making sushi constantly touching his face, his nose, his hair, his armpit and his phone... Ewwww. Then he would put gloves on and make sushi. Please wash your hands buddy! I did not report it to the manager which I usually, but I figured we were still there and well you know how that goes..... my rating would have been higher if not for what I saw with the sushi guy. I will go back now that I know what to expect as far as the menu. Outside of the nasty sushi guys habits, the food was good and the service was great. Give them a shot!"

"Freshest fish Tysons. I don't know what the previous person is referring, I go here quite often because they have one of the freshest fish in all of Northern VA. I have stopped going to Tachibana, another long established Japanese restaurant in the area because the fish at Sakura was much more fresh and better presented. Additionally their pricing is about one-third lower and much QUICKER and better service. I think because they are so busy that their rotation of fish is much faster. I also love the atmosphere. Great food for the money..."

"I had ordered the chicken Teriyaki Bento Box and Kalimari and was left a bit disappointed to say the least. The soup had a bit of a weird taste which made me second guess if that was just the flavor or not. The House Salad was just a few pieces of lettuce in a small container. However the dressing it came with was excellent. I paid extra for Lo Mein instead of rice and it was not worth it. The portion wasn't worth the price, nor was the noodle. It was more of a pan fried noodle with nothing else going for it. The spring roll was alright, not too much to say about it. The california roll was okay, I've had better, I've had worse. I liked that the ginger it came with wasn't dyed pink. The Chicken Teriyaki was really decent and had good flavor to it. The Kalimari wasn't really kalimari as opposed to Tempura fried Veggies. I also paid for an extra side of chicken that was not worth the money for the portion. Overall, it wasn't bad, but definitely left me a bit disappointed and wanting more in quality and quantity."

"I really enjoyed the sushi here, the rice had a strong edgy taste that I don't seem to have many sushi places was not overwhelming, but it made the sushi everything that I better. Tuna reels, and yellow tail rolls are always mine, and I really liked the yellow tail roll it was definitely one of the best I had before. the sushi came with misosuppet and an salad, both were great and the salat had a homemade dressing, but was not the usual ingwer dressing her in the rule to find at a Japanese resteraunt, it was different and very good, it also had a good edgy taste."

"I have ordered the delivery, also din-in and execution. the sushi is always fresh and eating is the best to Chinese and thai in this opposite and environment. the server are lovely and appeasing. the orderings are made with accuracy and eating is made with care. the restaurant itself is always clean and tidy including the bathroom. I really mean, I can't say enough good things about this place. it's just wonderful.
