"From a Viet who grew up in OC, Co Do is one of the best Viet spots in town. Was one of my favs and I was stoked when they opened up this second location a few years ago down the street from my house in Natomas.The reviews about the pho being ok are trippin. It’s not the best, but it’s definitely very good. The best in the area. You’d have to go down to Stockton for comparable or better.But pho isn’t their speciality. If you want great pho, you usually have to go to a place that only does Pho bc of how pho is normally made.Their Mi Quang, their Bun Bo Hue and their Bun Rieu are amazing. Bun Rieu is some of the best I’ve had at any Viet restaurant, here, SJ or OC. And so is their Mi Quang, which is a Viet dish that not a lot of restaurants have. Don’t let these non-Viet people sway you. You want some good Viet food, come here. Order those 3 things."
