"On Saturday at 11:30 am, just as the doors were about to open, a line had already formed outside. That’s a promising sign, I'd say. We timed it perfectly and were among the first to be seated as the place filled up quickly. Wow, the chicken and dumplings were the best I’ve ever had, especially on a chilly day, paired with their famous cornbread. I also shared an “Irish” sandwich with my wife, which featured deli-sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, and tomato on jalapeño cornbread. What a delightful combination! We even bought a whole coconut buttermilk pie to take home for an event the next day—oh, it was so delicious!"
