"The Canteen, The Canteen. If you are fortunate enough to have Unge as your server, you will have the best service experience that you could potentially have anywhere. And having owned 2 bars/restaurants and having a passion for service, this is praise that I do not lightly give. She is the ideal blend of engaging and respectful of the time and space of her customers. She's funny, clever, a brilliant source for recommendations, and every suggestion that she made was spot on. In today's service industry I have found so much laziness, dispassionate behavior, and disinterest in the customer's experience. Unge made it splendid. She is incredibly gifted and made the evening immeasurably better than it would have been. So there we were: 7 friends celebrating our friend's upcoming wedding in Breckenridge. I had the steak frites (slightly overcooked from the rare I'd asked for, but good nonetheless); the Reuben was a big hit, as was the mac and cheese. They pour some great beers here also, and the wine list was surprisingly well-appointed. For the environment in which it is placed, the value is outstanding and the ambiance is exactly the mountain-y feel you'd want. A great experience overall, and again, ask for Unge."
